Burnley Football Club  


In the crisp winter of 2024, I began an onsite collaborated onsite with creative director Aitor Throup at Burnley Football Club in Lancashire, England. During our idiosyncratic and highly rewarding creative period  facilitating the new owners' (ALK Capital) vision across artistic, design, visual, and commercial projects, iinvestment and collaborations.

Key contributions included:
Leading the office redisign to provide t hree tier refurn 100-500k budget, individual consultations with staff, sourcing locall design teams, community fan wall designs, restruct, collaborating with owners on ways to engage with health and wellness with local communities - AG1 actication on matchday, full event day re-design, from music to matchday experience, full E-com and site audit and re-design, from granular packshots to overall Brand narrative.

Developing the “Save Football from Var” Campiangn to asist in banning video assistant referees claiming its to the detriments of the game. this included flyposters, papers on seats, billboard campaing, social and physical push. 

Using latest accessable tools -  nanobananna, Midjourney 7, Figma, indeign etc to build a skeloton crew of creatives to redesign matchday experience. 


The most rewarding  component was collaborating with staff on a total philosophical redesign of the office space, drawing from one on one interviews that revealed how bad design impacts user work, attitude, and quality of life. Inspired by the bold, stark, and fun architecture of the work of SHoP Architects in my own homtown, New York and the radically immersive worlds of Berlin-based Sub, we presneted a total office redesing.
